Born and raised in Los Angeles, Behr is a multimedia artist residing in Santa Monica, CA. He attended the prestigious Brentwood School ('09) from K-12 before graduating NYU Tisch School of the Arts ('12) with a degree in Film & Documentary Production. Growing up in a multilingual family of academics and creative intellectuals, Behr built a strong foundation for international music, cinema and literature. He has produced experimental and narrative video content for over a decade, most proud of his arthouse film collaboration with Hailey Gates,"Medeafilm", his web serial collaborations with Lorraine Nicholson & Lena Greene on "R.I.P." for CryptTV.com, his period of study at N.Y.U. under documentary legend George Stoney, and his independent study with celebrated Casa de Americas author, Margarita Mateo at her private residence in Havana [thanks to Fundación Ludwig de Cuba]. [ mmx3 - 2kxv ] - as an active supporter and respected member of the L.E.S. and SoCal D.I.Y. art community, Behr co-founded and served as Creative Director for the multimedia production and underground media archival group - Almost Holden Collective [almostholden.com]. His collaborations via Almost Holden have been published in the L.A. Times, L.A. Weekly and Santa Monica Mirror, featured on the front page of MySpace.com, and on independent radio stations KXLU and KCRW. October 29, 2014 - His popular multimedia studio/gallery on Ocean Park, A.H.C. [ahcollection.net] was listed alongside such classic Hollywood clubs as The Troubadour, Echoplex and DTLA's The Smell for"Best Small Venues in L.A." by LAist.com. It was during these years he compiled the epic tales of reckless "Tequila Pigs".
