Alexander N

Hollywood educated at Universal Studios film producer and writer-director. Alexander N was born in Leningrad, now Saint Petersburg, Russia in family of a teacher and an engineer. Since age of 7 he started writing stories and playing music. Though his first education was in IT field, he firmly decided to dedicate his life to cinema. In childhood he, his mother and sister spend days in a film developing room. At some point Alexander started to shoot his own moving pictures with early hand cameras (long before era of Instagrams, DHLRs and cameras-built-in-everything). In 2010 he received grant from producer/director Brett Ratner and started his film education at New York Film Academy in Los Angeles where his course project "Bright Dark Black" went to Cannes Film Festival 2011, "Court Métrage" program. In Los Angeles he spend 2,5 years studying, practicing and working in Hollywood industry.
