LaShanay Donise Reita

LaShanay Donise Reita was born and raised in Southern California. She learned early on that being in front of the camera is where she wanted to be. As a child she would drag her mom to countless open calls and auditions for acting schools. She attended Rancho Verde High School where she participated in the drama program and several school plays. After graduating high school she found her self at Cal Poly Pomona majoring in Public Relations, and doing community theatre in her spare time. Realizing that the childhood game of playing make believe was still her favorite pastime and was no longer just a hobby but a passion, she took a leap of faith to follow her dream of becoming an actress. Shortly after landing in LA she booked a Lead role in an MTV project and not longer after a recurring role in a popular web series. Working her way from the stage to the screen you can now find LaShanay honing her skills in several independent films including the gripping short Dead Diamonds, the family film Jessica's Journey, and the popular web series This Indie Thing, just to name a few.
