Marz Lovejoy landed major modeling jobs; Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, GAP and Abercrombie before segueing her talents into that of acting in national commercials-KFC and Hometown Buffet. Marz Lovejoy is a 2010 graduate of New York Film Academy in Los Angeles (NYFA) and continual student of acting, music and life. Always having an innate penchant for theatrics, Marz Lovejoy posted You Tube videos exposing her talents as a rapper and an emerging songstress-catching the eye of producer, Polyester the Saint-who aided in her signing to an independent company, iHipHop Distribution. In late 2010, the talented songwriter, dropped her first EP entitled, This Little Light of Mine, making it onto iTunes' top 200 R&B/Hip Hop list. 2011 brought Marz great success at SXSW, where she opened for Wu-Tang and Erykah Badu. She debuted in her first movie role playing Angel in a Sheldon Candis directed film titled, L.U.V. (Learning Uncle Vincent), starring Common, Danny Glover, Meagan Good, Dennis Haysbert, Michael Kenneth Williams and awesome new comer Michael J. Rainey. L.U.V. is due out in theaters fall 2012. On a roll, Marz landed Kid Cannabis which filmed in Victoria, Canada, August 2012. It will hit theaters in 2013. Marz Lovejoy is currently working on her debut full length album with producers Om'Mas (Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, John Legend, ODB, Mobb Deep, Frank Ocean) and Polyester (Dom Kennedy, Freddie Gibbs, Slim Thug, Casey Veggies, Marz Lovejoy).
