Luigi Pepe was born in Calabria in 1982. After graduating in Sociology, he attended ZeLIG, the school for documentary, television and new media in Bolzano, Italy, where he specialized in editing and post-production. At ZeLIG he edited three movies that were admitted to several international film festivals (Tampere, Jihlava, Minneapolis, Zagrebdox to name a few.) In 2010 he was selected for Berlinale Talent Campus. In 2011 he founded Jump Cut.
