Known for Mrs. Simms in Tennessee Gothic and Wanda in Ashes to Ashes, Christine is a product of being raised in the Deep South at a time when girls were not allowed to do squat. She left for Atlanta 17 in search of freedom. Escaping to Southern California in 1970, she landed in the San Fernando Valley where she began acting as an extra-primarily because she didn't want to be an opera singer who simply parked and barked. Chasing the operatic dream, Christine did a stint in Manhattan studying and coaching while serving steaks at Mrs. J's Sacred Cow. She sang three guest performances of the National Anthem in Madison Square Garden, two for the New York Knicks and one for the Rangers. After shedding her operatic skin and moving back south in 1980, she spent the next 13 years belting out country and rock tunes. Still, acting (some theater and a few local commercials) kept creeping in through the cracks in the musical fabric of her life, and she began writing. Planted in Nashville, TN, Christine's been working in film and television since 2009, with a bit of theater thrown in for good measure.
