Janya Cambronero Severin

Janya Cambronero Severin is a Swedish/Costa Rican actress. Janya Cambronero Severin was born Janya Anne-Lie Maria Cambronero in Uppsala, Sweden, and grew up in Uppsala as well as San Jose, Barcelona and Managua. Her mother is Swedish. Her father is Costa Rican and moved to Sweden at the age of 20. Janya was raised bilingual, speaking Swedish and Spanish. As a student, she has approached academia with hunger and holds an MA in business, as well as an MA in upper secondary education in Business and Theatre. She received a scholarship which enabled her to pursue acting and directing at California state, Chico. She co-founded and runs a theatre organization in Sweden, Teater Aros, established 2009.
