Sky Wilson

Sky Wilson first made a name for herself as a presenter in the late 1980's and early 1990's. In 1999 she formed her own production company with an eye towards making factual entertainment shows and documentaries. However, it wasn't until the digital revolution was in full swing in the early 2000's that things kicked into gear. Sky created the internet show, "Inside Report" as a showcase for independent film and talent from across the globe. The show was a phenomenal success with thousands of viewers every week. For the time, in a world before YouTube, this was astounding. Building on the success of "Inside Report", Sky has dominated the independent film making community with other shows such as "Make Me A Film Star", "On the Backlot" and "Net News". Making frequent appearances at film festivals, conventions and seminars across the world, Sky has become an authority on film making for the digital age. In 2005 Sky released her first feature length documentary, "George and Me" to huge worldwide success. The film told the stories of several "Star Wars" fans from all over the world and was met with universal praise from fans and critics alike. In 2013, Sky and her production company are set to release a new web series delving into the amazing world of indie fan film making. Also set for release in 2013 is a documentary telling the (so far) untold story of Derry McCarthy, the forgotten son of the multi millionaire "King of Soho" Paul Raymond.
