Chris Vaughn

Christopher Vaughn Messer, publicly known as Chris Vaughn (born July 30, 1976), is an American singer-songwriter, film and music producer from New Jersey. Nicknamed "CeeVee," by Prince Be of PM Dawn, he is most recognized for his poetic lyrics, Jersey Shore roots, strong vocals, and remarkable versatility in the arts. Chris Vaughn started writing poetry while he attended Shore Regional High School under the pen name "Littary" which became lyrics and melody lines for his first band (Against the Grain/Grayn). He quickly gained the attention of the local papers for his "teenage angst" and "strong vocals." He has shared the stage with such acts like: Incubus, Dave Marks (Beach Boys), Princess and multi-platinum recording artist PM Dawn. Vaughn married his best friend, Shannon D'Astoli of Tenafly, NJ, in 1996 and had a private ceremony in 1998 for close family and friends. Their three children are Christian Vaughn Messer, Jayden Marc Messer, and Zane Michael Messer.
