Claudia Kastellanos

Claudia is a unique mix of Greek/Irish/Scottish/Dutch/Sioux Indian who was born into a family of many creative entrepreneurs and musical talents. With creativity running in her blood and gifted background no wonder her spirit lives off the arts. She was born and raised in one of the most diversified areas of Northern Virginia, Springfield; And attended Robert E. Lee High School. Blessed with an ornate look, Ms. Kastellanos' decided to further her elusive interest in modeling which took root after high school. She practiced this new fancied art by participating in her friends photography projects from Washington's Art Institute. Watching shows such as The Tyra Banks Show and America's Next Top Model provided her with enough intrigue for her to take a much closer look and to try her hand at the art of modeling regardless of her pint-sized stature and unorthodox look. Claudia has been featured in several international music videos ranging from Japanese Pop to Ghanaian dance hits. In spring of 2013 she modeled as an elven warrior promoting an upcoming web-series via the Middle-Earth Network titled "The Rangers". She's participated in artful shorts as a model/face as well. Going back to the early years, just a short while after high school and photography tests, Claudia's true artistic passions really started evolving and she soon began a new journey, but this time into film. She began gaining fundamental experience and numerous credits through old-fashion hard-work climbing up the ladder working behind the scenes as a grip and in the sound department on various productions, including the following: independent award winning Nollywood film Paparazzi: Eye in the Dark, which won Best Feature Film in Diaspora at the 2011 NAFC Awards (NAFCA); the sci-fi music videos "Trust In Me" and "Love Is Magic" for Salia; the Nollywood comedic drama "Busted Life"; and the award-winning One Night In Vegas, which enjoyed its fair share of published acclaim in 2013, and many more. From there she had enough know-how to get her foot in the door and then started slowly working up the acting ladder by applying for background acting and so on. Via networking, Claudia came into contact with more film producers, and was able to appear as a featured background player on several productions on shows such as VEEP and House of Cards. These experiences eagerly lead her up the ladder to bigger and better roles involving dialogue/leads. These inspiring experiences behind and in-front of the camera brought to her skills a distinctly dual edge regarding the perception of film as well as the happy propulsion for her artful career.
