Aro Korol is an award-winning British filmmaker. Most recently, Korol produced and directed the theatrically released film "Battle of Soho". This Feature Documentary stars: Actors Stephen Fry and Jenny Runacre, UK club promoter Philip Sallon, UK human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell and, David Bowie and Kate Bush choreographer Lindsay Kemp in his final interview and performance. The film was exhibited in major London Cinemas including Curzon Soho, Bertha DocHouse, Picturehouse Central, Genesis, Rio Dalston, Regent Street Cinema. It was also featured at ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art ) and international festivals including Galway Film Fleadh 2018, Netia OFF Camera 2018, and the 33rd Warsaw Film Festival. Official selection: 33rd Warsaw Film Festival, 2017 Miami Independent Film Festival, 30th Galway Film Fleadh and Netia Off-Camera, 2018 When Aro Korol was just 19 years, his first film job was as a 3rd Production Assistant on "Schindler's List" directed by Steven Spielberg. Korol moved to Paris, France where he lived for 12 years, traveling to America in 1997 to study film at New York University. In 1999 Korol started his own film production company, Korol Film Digital S.A.R.L. In 2005 he returned to New York where he established Awesome Industry and gained exclusive access to film events at the Roxy in New York showcasing Madonna as well as Producer and famed DJ Peter Rauhofer. In 2008 Korol moved to London where he continues to work as a filmmaker.
