Raymond Chu

Raymond Chu has contributed as a Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, or combination, on a wide range of commercial, fashion, television, web series, music video, short film, documentary projects that have gone on to win awards at film festivals around the world and featured on Vimeo Staff Picks. Clients include New York Life, Kiehl's, Lyft, Time, Kia, LG, GQ Taiwan, Allure, Rocnation, William Rast, Georg Jensen, Playtex, and more. Since graduating New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Theater in 2011, Raymond has championed stories from diverse backgrounds, seeking projects promoting female and minority voices under the Lofty Entertainment banner. Raymond has also served for three years screening films for the Hamptons Int'l Film Festival. Raymond was previously represented by CESD as an actor and model, appearing in a few independent films and small television roles. Raymond has been a fixture in the fashion world since 2007, as a vintage clothing historian and collector, blending his love for film and history with personal style, spending a decade working for his uncle, Nautica co-founder David Chu and contributing as a menswear writer for The Rake. You can find him in the pages of GQ, Esquire, The Sartorialist, The Rake, StyleLikeU, I Am Dandy, and recently was featured in the CFDA's New York Fashion Week 2016 citywide campaign by Melodie Jeng, and previous campaigns for Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger, and Braun.
