Sandy is the lead role in the film Writer's Block by Alex Méndez Giner, where she performs a troubled writer that receives packages with morbidly disturbing content. She has studied various modern acting methods with a strong emphasis on the Stella Adler's system. The Book of Judith, Onikuma, It Rains and Glue are some of the films she has also led, all of them recognized in more than forty international festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, Slamdance, Milano, Durban, Guadalajara, Sapporo and Miami, among others. She has also led the award-winner film Centripetal, recipient of the Audience's Choice Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival. She has had a significant participation in television, being a principal role in more than thirty national and international spots and a recurrent character in two major TV shows. Her inclinations have also taken her to radio broadcasting, being able to produce and host two long-lasting radio programs. Sandy teaches the course Directing Actors at Syracuse University and she continues to develop her diverse acting career.
