J Orion Liptak

Jonathan "J" Orion Liptak was born September 11th, 1985 on the Tinker Air Base in Oklahoma City, OK. The son of a pilot and a librarian, his family moved to Fort Worth, TX shortly after his birth and was heavily involved in theatre. At a young age, J was fascinated with science fiction, theatre, and filmmaking. After doing theatre in the schools and community from age 12, he entered the University of North Texas theatre program in 2004 and graduated with a BA in Performance. Also attended the North Carolina School of the Arts in 2006 for their stage combat program. For two years, J produced theatre and choreographed fights for Sundown Collaborative in Denton, TX. Between 2008 and 2010 J made 5 short films and was encouraged to go bigger. In 2011, he finished his first feature film, Farworld.
