Minyoung Kim leads content across Korea, South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, and works with creators across these countries. Under her leadership, Netflix brought best-in-class Korean series to global audiences including 'Kingdom,' 'Love Alarm,' 'Extracurricular,' 'The School Nurse Files,' 'Crash Landing on You,' 'Itaewon Class' and 'Sweet Home, and films like 'Time to Hunt,' 'The Call' and 'Space Sweepers.' She joined Netflix in 2016 as one of the first content executives based in Asia. She has built and managed Netflix's growing slate of Korean original series, in addition to helping lead the creation of our Seoul office. Prior to Netflix, she led Twitter's Content Partnerships across APAC. She started her career at an independent TV production company, and built her expertise in international business while working at NBC Universal (France) and CJ E&M (Korea).
