Daryl Stoneage is an award-winning film director, based in Vancouver and Tokyo. He graduated from the Vancouver Film School and works mainly in documentaries. He sometimes hosts his documentaries, which tend to be either funny, cultural, or human-interest stories. Aside from directing, he's also a certified film editor, and has worked for CBC, The Canadian Broadcast Corporation. Daryl's debut film, Donkey Love, won a Best Documentary Award, a Director's Choice Award, an Indie Award, and got 10 Official Selections at film festivals in 4 countries and 3 continents, around the world. The film is known as: "The most shocking documentary ever made," and is the first film in history to shut down an entire film festival. Donkey Love hit world-wide headlines when it was almost banned in Australia, and has been covered in such newspapers as the New York Times and the Huffington Post. Michael Moore was quoted saying, "I was really impressed by it," and the film was produced by Paul Provenza, director of The Aristocrats.
