Ron Newcombe

Ron Newcombe is a Canadian actor and singer based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Starting in school theatre at a young age, his first television appearance was at 12 years old on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation morning show "Switchback". For many years Ron appeared in small stage productions and background parts in television and movies, as well as working behind the scenes at everything from production runner to writing, editing, and directing. In 2007, in addition to television and features, Newcombe began focusing on the stage and has had leading roles in many popular musicals such as Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Oklahoma!" and Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's "Les Miserables", besides original works. Ron also enjoys singing with the championship Barbershop chorus the "Cape Breton Chordsmen" and the award-winning male quartet "Class Act".
