Yasir Al-Yasiri

Yasir AlYasiri is a director, producer & writer, known for On Borrowed Time (2018) , 122 (2019) and Murk Light (2012). Yasir is renowned for his work in the Arab entertainment industry as a music video director as he had ten awards under his belt before his film debut with Murk Light (2013), which screened at more than 30 film festivals and It was also the first Emirati made film to be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. His first feature (Shabab Sheyab 2018) was highly praised by film audience and film critics, it was first premiered in the Palm Springs International Film Festival and then continued to run in the most important film festivals in the world. His second film [122] (2019) was the first Egyptian film to be released in 4DX format and it was a block buster in the Egyptian box office.
