Allison Sommers Kelly

Allison Sommers Kelly was born Allison Michelle Sommers to Michael and June Sommers in Springfield, Missouri on February 25, 1977. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee Kelly is the mother of Actor/Artist, Jacob Breland (The Bag), Aunt of Actor, Blake Sommers and Niece of Actress, Robbie Billings. Fell in love with acting at the age of 14. Studied with Red West from 1995-2006, Forrest Pruett 2010-2013 and Corey Parker 2013-2014 Filmed the internet series Headshop without a script- the entire show is 100% improvised. Worked as a dialect coach on the film, Forty Shades of Blue, to help the actors develop an authentic southern accent. Randomly participates in comedy open mic nights Put acting on hold in 2014 to pursue her of love of writing and to explore the other side of the camera plus "entertaining people as myself is a lot more fun and I'm always cast as 'myself' anyway so there's that. " Started writing the film, Uncertain Saunter, in 2007. Every character is named after a family member except Rebecca. She didn't want to associate such an evil character with people she cares about. Enlisted the help of Director/Writer Bryan Artiles to help her write the ending of Uncertain Saunter which lead to Artiles directing the project. Actor, Patrick "Pat" Prentiss and Kelly have been friends for 20 plus years. They met while working at the same movie theater in 1995.
