Marina BerBeryan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, on September 22, 1980, to Valentina Zemlyak, a Register Nurse, and John BerBeryan, an entrepreneur. During her childhood, her family moved to Los Angeles, California where she was raised. Marina is Armenian-Ukrainian-American. Marina started her acting and modeling career in New York City when her family moved to Queens, New York. She had several acting gigs including a part in "My So Called Life" with the [Claire Danes ] and winning Miss New York beauty pageant in 1996. After living in New York City for a few years her family moved back to Los Angeles, California and that's when Marina decided that she wanted to pursue a career in fashion. As a child, her first sewing lesson was given to her at age of 6. Her first job as a Celebrity Fashion Stylist was working with Ms. Exoti-Lady World Beauty Pageant styling 25 contestants each with 4 different look. Marina made several appearances in American reality television series, including Style Network's Tia & Tamara, Bravo's The Real Housewives of Orange County, and Reelz's Beverly Hills Pawn. During this period Marina also styled her celebrity clients for Hollywood's red carpet events, editorial photo shoots, music videos and her designer clients for LA Fashion Week's runway fashion shows. In 2004, Marina added Fashion Journalism t her resume contributing to national magazines such as Splash Magazine, MF Magazine, and internationally Hat and Trick Magazine (United Kingdom), Tehran Magazine (Iran) and other online publications. In 2011, Marina received an award for being one of the "Top Celebrity Fashion Stylist" in Hollywood, CA. In 2018 Marina passed her Broker's exam in the state of Nevada where she's a Realtor to celebrities. Marina resides in Los Angeles, California, and has been married to Arman Magz since May 3, 2003. They have three children, Katrina, Isabella and John.
