Yuri Machado

Yuri is a graduate from the University of Arizona with a Bachelors in Fine Arts program with emphasis in Producing For Film. A graduate from Pima Community College with three degrees in the same field. (Liberal Arts, Associates of Art and Digital Film & Video Arts). While getting his education both at Pima and the U of A Machado has worked at a Public Broadcast Service affiliate where he has experienced how to do a number of tasks such as shooting, editing and producing for television. Yuri has also done numerous internships as Assistant of Production and Editing Assistant at Gecko and BigfootHD. He has also done work both as a videographer and an editor for a nationally televised show called "In The Americas With David Yetman". In 2011, aside from being involved in several short and feature film projects, Machado started a production company Authentic Productions LLC. In partnership with fellow filmmakers, he also operates a film Festival called Short Film Showcase. Authentic Productions LLC is now helping to produce a show called Step Up To The Microphone and is one of the content providers for well known TV, Web and Radio Network called Voice America. In 2011 Machado also wrote and directed a short film called S.O.L., which is now touring the film festival circuit. When it screened in Tucson, it sold out.
