Lexy Raiford is an Honor Student at Cape Fear High School in Fayetteville, NC. Her love for acting began as a 3 year old Singing Angel in the Church Christmas Pageant, participating in Christmas Pageants yearly through middle school. Acting classes include Cape Fear High School Theaters Arts I, II, and III Honors, Cape Fear Regional Theater (CFRT), Sandhills Model & Talent Agency, Maxanne Crotts-Harvey's acting seminars, Highland Performance Arts, Church Choir, as well as other acting venues since elementary. She was awarded the Outstanding Theater Arts 1 & 2 Student at Cape Fear High and has won several Acting Awards at International Modeling/Talent Conventions. Through Sandhills Modeling, she was awarded their "Fayeteville Next Top Model" several times in her age category. She attended the New York Film Academy (NYFA) "Acting for Film" & Musical Theater High School Program, Musicamp at Methodist University, and Rhythmic Dance summer camp at University of North Carolina (Greensboro). Lexy stars as Lindsey, Principle teen lead in, "Chain of Custody". Leads in other shorts include "True Love Waits", "Fear of the Flesh", BUMPS", "My Girl Anna", "The Guardian", "CIG/Dig" and a commercial, "When a Stranger Calls". She has a supporting role as Amber in the full feature, "The Hollow Oaks" and the short "The Meaning of Life. She is a featured extra in the full feature "Remnants", "Find a Way", "The Carrington Event", and featured extras many other features and shorts. As "lead" Vampire at the Vander Haunted Trail 2010 and 2011, her screams were voted the most "piercing"! Theater work includes Best Christmas Pageant Ever twice @ Cape Fear Regional Theater, many high school plays, and participated in numerous fashion shows mostly for charity. At Cape Fear High School she is in the top 10% of her class, -President of Key Club, an officer in Beta Club, Student Government school community liaison, Cape Fear Playas (Drama Club), Academy of Science, Academy of Scholars, Freshman Mentor, Geometry Tutor and was in Color Guard, Winter Guard, and Concert Band. She has just been inducted as Carolina District Lt. Governor of Key Club. She was a Student Ambassador to Italy, Greece, and Sicily through People to People Ambassador Program. As alumni of National Youth Leadership Council she has been invited to attend the Presidential Inaugural Conference in January 2013. Besides her "passion" for acting, Lexy loves doing stunts, is a Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-do (TKD) and former North Carolina TKD State Champ. Community service is part of her life - winning the school SGA Community Service Award and the JL Dawkins Cumberland County Service Award at Fayetteville Dogwood Festival. Other hobbies include a zeal for art, photograph, web design, modeling, singing, dancing, roller blading, ice skating, saxophone, swimming, track/field, basketball, bowling, and traveling.
