Based in London, UK, Kate is a Cork-born, Irish actress. Represented by AK Agents (Acting) and Soho Voices (Voiceover). Has also worked under her full name - Kate McSwiney O'Rourke. Classically trained at Shakespeare & Company USA, with Mary Curtin in Ireland and with qualifications from LAMDA & Thames Valley University, Kate's recent work includes A Moment's Peace (Hope Theatre Online), JESS (Glass Half Full/The Space online), Director's Cut Theatre productions at Southwark Playhouse, Classified (Loosely Based Theatre/Actor Awareness), Feel More (Proforca/Kings Head) and SLAMsoaps & SLAMminutes (SLAM at the Arcola). Kate's performances in 'JESS' and 'A Moment's Peace' received critical acclaim and won OnComm Commendations for Online Theatre in 2020.
