Adam Eppenstein is an American actor, writer, and director. He is best known for Safe Driver (2013), Disaster Wars: Earthquake vs. Tsunami (2013), and The Parent Project (2011). Adam was born in Evanston, Illinois and while growing up he moved around the Chicagoland area. He began doing stand-up comedy while studying architecture at the University of Illinois. After obtaining a Bachelor's degree, Adam returned to Chicago where he studied improv and comedy writing at Second City. While in Chicago he continued to do stand-up comedy, improvised with the group Right Hand Yellow (Playground Theater), and co-wrote the sketch comedy revue Sex, Lies, and Asparagus (Second City, The Chicago Sketchfest 2005). Since moving to Los Angeles Adam has appeared in commercials and print ads for such companies as Microsoft, Toyota, and Sony. He has performed stand-up comedy regularly at the World Famous Comedy Store as well as clubs and festivals all over the country. In 2013 Adam began directing with his debut short film Safe Driver (2013), and then followed that up with Living the Dream (2014).
