Christofer Gutekunst

Christofer Gutekunst was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. His mother, Robin, was a diamond jeweler, and his father, Donald, is a retired shop foreman. He has German ancestry with him and his older brother, Shawn, being the second generation born in the United States. Painting, ceramics, baseball, and football filled much of his recreational time growing up, as did weight training and other athletics. His journey began with Mr. Ray's ninth grade English class where the entire class was forced not only read plays, but memorized, delve into, and perform while being yelled enthusiastic directions. It was not until later in life he committed to a career in the entertainment industry, taking classes with Maureen Dempsey in Meisner and self study in Method. Shortly after he was cast as 'Leon' in the independent film, Leon, while also acting in a web series where he eventually ended up writing and directing later episodes. When he moved to Los Angeles he continued his studying with Ryan R. Williams, winner of the prestigious Gold Remi Award, and with Annie Grindlay, founder of the distinguished Annie Grindlay Studios. Thrilled to be based in Los Angeles, Christofer spends much of his time studying acting, writing, and reading. His recreational interests include weight training, health and fitness.
