Cinematic jazz funk band formed in 2007 by Italian musicians all stars Massimo Martellotta, Enrico Gabrielli, Luca Cavina, Fabio Rondanini and Tommaso Colliva. Started as a one-off studio project to revisit classic Italian golden age soundtracks, the band quickly gained momentum and began writing its own music. First original soundtrack was for US documentary "Eurocrime" by Mike Malloy followed by soundtracks for Italian Independent movies "Said" and "Sogni Di Gloria". Many songs by the band have been used on movies including "Calling All Units to Giambellino" on Robert Schwentke's R.E.D. and "Appuntamento Al Contessa" on Michele Placido's "Angels of Evil". In 2021 the band composed and performed the entire soundtrack for Italian Tv Series "Blanca", directed by Jan Michielini. Music by Calibro 35 has also been sampled by Jay Z on "Picasso Baby" and Dr Dre on "Compton Soundtrack"
