Shelby Townsend

Born in Charlotte, NC, Shelby Townsend was always creative with a love of drawing and photography, but it was not until Middle School that the acting bug bit her. Her first audition was for a short film and she was cast as the lead. From there she has been cast in several indie movies/short films and signed with some of the Southeast's best Talent Agencies. Now in High School, she has been taking Acting Classes and was invited to be in an invitation only advanced class. She competed in a national showcase where she won a gold medal for acting. She brings realness to her performance, whether it is just a bit part or lead. Her favorite characters to play are the ones that have some sort of conflict where she can delve deeper and bring that character to life. Her other love is animals, she has a Collie named Roxie and just adopted a black cat named Milo. Shelby volunteers at a local Humane Society when she has free time. Shelby plans to attend the University of North Carolina and major in Art and plans to continue acting and movie making.
