When Michael James ackerman found himself on the set of Chaplin (1992) talking through a scene with Robert downey junior and sir Richard attenborough , it could not have been further away from reality than 6months earlier working in a factory in south london , where he was made redundant and wondering where his life would take him next. Having been told he must be mad / insane to even think of becoming an actor , he stepped straight into the asylum with both feet, very quickly finding out how tough it was , he joined some extra agencies , and soon began working which led to his encounter with sir Richard Attenborough, soon after that he trained at Anna Scher theatre school London , and later the young actors theatre in islington. which led to him working on the movie ,bullion boys (1993 )with David Jason, also business affair with Christopher walken ( 1994 ), and being human with Robin Williams ( 1994 ), also BBC dramas our friends in the north (1996 ) with Daniel Craig and Christopher Ecclestone, La passion (1996) Chris Rea ,Tomorrow never dies (1997) Pierce Brosnon,TV roles he also appeared in are The Bill , Londons Burning , Eastenders , birds of a feather ,Goodnight sweetheart , Frankie , and many commercials including , Mcdonalds , Daewoo cars , HSBC , Sky tv , The Gaurdian newspaper. And in 2015 has secured one of the lead roles in luing andrews feature film 8ish.
