Hashim Marlee lives with his parents in Englewood, NJ. Born in 1999, his interest in becoming an actor was sparked one summer in 2008 during summer camp when he performed in Jack in the Bean Stalk. Later, Hahim expressed an interest in appearing on TV and his mother immediately enrolled him in acting lessons with NuStars (now known as BIH Studios). After graduating from NuStars in October 2009, Hashim booked his first gig: a public service announcement for the School of Visual Arts entitled "What's Going On, Nutrition?" He has been going strong ever since. He can be seen on TV, stage, in film and commercials, and catalogs, and has been interviewed by Backstage.com. And that's not all: Hashim is also an exceptional drummer as well (you can find him on YouTube), and performs a recital each year at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, NJ. On April 14, 2010, his birthday, Hashim was signed to Shirley Grant Management. In his spare time, Hashim enjoys comedy, video gaming, beat-boxing, Tae Kwondo, soccer, dodge ball, and hip-hop. Even at his young age, this skilled actor looks to the future with focus - and a goal to become one of the world's greatest actors.
