Jarrett Brown

Jarrett Brown grew up in New London, Wisconsin. He studied Graphic Design at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where he received a BA in Fine Arts. Shortly after college, he moved to Portland, Oregon where he began acting in theater. It is in Portland where he met his future wife and forever life partner, Dr. Kristina Brown. His acting mentor, Sandra Peabody has been the biggest influence on Jarrett's acting method through "Meisner Techniques" she learned from Sanford Meisner in New York. Jarrett has applied this training for acting in film, television, theater, and web. He has also been trained under Kimberly Busby of Des Moines, Iowa for three years. In Des Moines he was a frequent actor with the Iowa Shakespeare Experience, performing in historic locations such as the Governor's Mansion and Jordan House. He has been in 6 productions of Monkey With A Hat On's "Ten Minute Play Festival. Twice as a writer/director, four times as an actor, and once as the soundboard technician. He is also a troupe member of American Immersion Theater where he performs with the Murder Mystery Company. He is a co-founder/writer/actor of the Portland Sketch group 'Escape Reality' as well as a co-founder/actor of Hubris Films. Jarrett Brown is represented by Peabody Management of Portland, Oregon.
