Courtney Leonard-Maye is an actress, director, writer, and producer from Rancho Cordova, CA, born and raised. She graduated from Western Career College as a Medical Assistant and was even featured in one of their commercials that aired for two years. She has her Bachelor's in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in Film Production and her Master's in Organizational Management with a Specialization in Media. From an early age, Courtney has been interested in working on films and television shows in front and behind the scenes. She remembers watching the television show Barney as a little girl and wanting to be on the show. However, she truly found her love for acting at the age of 9 when she received the opportunity to play Rosa Parks in a school play. Courtney had her ah-ha moment proving that she was indeed a phenomenal actress. She even wrote a Television Show called "The Leonard's" about her family in 3rd grade. Since then, Courtney has been in several plays and short films and has directed, produced, assistant directed, written, edited, and produced short films, including her television talk show "In the Spotlight."
