A Taiwanese-Canadian writer-director based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Athena was born and raised in Taiwan, and she immigrated to Canada with her family when she was 13. Her film "Home" was screened at festivals including Whistler Film Festival, Golden Harvest Award Festival and Los Angeles Asian Film Festival. The film has also received A&E Short Filmmaker Award for Best Film, Shaw Media Fearless Female Director Award and Brian Linehan Actors Award.
