Peter was born in the town of St. Helens in Northern England and has 4 brothers. His mother was an English teacher who ran the school drama group and his father was an inventor. He grew up in Wales and at the age of 18 moved to London to attend Mountview Theatre School, winning the Penny Blackburn award for outstanding achievement, and Student of the year. He worked on London's millennium show alongside Peter Gabriel, and a host of stars and continued a successful theatre career which included working with Sir Nicholas Hytner to build a new drama facility at a leading British Grammar School. In 2010, decided to concentrate fully on a TV and film career and has since starred in several feature films and the BBC award nominated 'Hood', in addition to numerous shorts, commercials, web series, and appearances on British television. Peter has traveled extensively, visiting 35 countries so far and immersing himself in many different cultures and is a keen motorcyclist, photographer and walker.
