Yagiz Acar

Yagiz Acar is a filmmaker, editor and a video artist who was born in Turkey and currently resides in Los Angeles. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Television with honors from Bahcesehir University, Istanbul. He continued his education with getting MFA degree at the New York Film Academy-Los Angeles, in Film Making. During his studies in Europe and the U.S. he has worked as a director, assistant director and gaffer in several commercials, music videos, feature and short film productions. He combines the traditional motion picture techniques with the futuristic and progressive cinema and video. Yagiz Acar keeps creating video, digital and experimental content for TV and Web, with a creative vision. He is inspired by progressive and futuristic cinema. He continues working as a freelance director and editor for various projects, as well as experimenting and developing new techniques, stories in his projects.
