The trajectory of Valencian filmmaker, screenwriter and researcher Miguel Ángel Font Bisier is a constant personal and professional evolution. His career is distinguished through the avant-garde nature of his projects. He is known as one of the pioneers in Spain in the fashion film format with his internationally recognized trilogy, "Eiénesis" (2010), as well as his award-winning short films within the horror genre, "Llagas" (2012) and "Sinnside" (2013), which premiered consecutively in the Official Section of the International Fantastic Film Festival of Sitges. Complementing his work in the field of fiction, Miguel Ángel creates different advertisements and videos for record companies such as Warner Music, as well as the posthumous official music video for the well-known band Motörhead (2016). His first television format, "El Trance Positivo", with the prestigious hypnotist Toni Pons, debuted in 2015. "Xmile" was brought to life in 2016, which combined the continuous themes in his career: fashion, fantasy and the search for new forms of communication. "Xmile" is the first short film designed not only to be seen and heard, but also smelled, tasted and touched. This multisensory approach, together with the inclusion of accessibility tracks for people with disabilities (audio description, closed caption and sign language), allows the deaf, blind and deafblind to get closer to achieving equality in media productions. In June 2017, Miguel Ángel made an appearance at the Spanish Senate to explain his new model of accessibility, stating that accessibility should be taken into account from the origin of any audiovisual production. After reviewing the proposals of his speech, the Valencian Institute of Culture made the decision to modify the subsidies for audiovisual production in the Valencian Community, declaring that, from 2018, all projects made with Valencian public money must be accessible. In his first book "Cinema of Universal Design", Miguel Ángel writes about the work developed during four years with "XMILE". It not only recounts his experience of making his own work totally accessible, but also explores several facets of the short film that are now taken as objects of research, thesis and university studies. Miguel Ángel now carries out his upcoming projects with teams consisting of a large number of people with disabilities both in front of and behind the camera. Examples include the first video for the Deafblind Association of the Valencian Community (Asocide CV), "Guide for the Adequate Treatment of Women and Girls with Disabilities" for the Cermi CV, or the fashion film "The Sea of Freedom". Also, AEDAVI, the Association for an Inclusive Audiovisual Education was co-founded together with producer Nuria Cidoncha in April 2018, with the goal of writing and directing new inclusive projects from the start. The first released films are the short film "Blues Time" (2019) and the documentary "Creating Inclusive Cinema" (2019). Miguel Ángel continues his investigative research while simultaneously writing feature film scripts and working for various producers, brands and associations at a national and international level.
