Sanjoy Sinharoy

Sanjoy Sinharoy (also spelt as Sanjay Sinha Roy) born and raised in the city of Calcutta of India, which was the former capital of British India. Although Sanjoy had started his professional career as a Software engineer, he had deep inclination towards creative and performing arts especially towards acting and vocal music since his childhood. His intense passion for performing arts compelled him to resign from his job in software industry and started his career in entertainment industry since the year of 2011. In his school days, Sanjoy acted for various amateur theatre groups of Calcutta. He acted in different plays based on novels of famous Indian writers like Rabindranath Tagore, Sarat Chandra Chatterjee, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay and others. Sanjoy learned Indian Classical Music, Modern Western Vocal music, Rabindra Sangeet and Modern songs from eminent Indian and Western Classical music teachers, music composers and singers. Sanjoy is working on various features, telefilms, short films and music albums as an actor and singer - for which he has got quite good appreciations in Indian subcontinent and aboard. Sanjoy also produced few short features and music videos. Some of his works are available on Internet and YouTube these days.
