Shawn Morse

Shawn grew up in Olympia, WA and Seattle, WA and graduated from the University of Washington. His love of art, design, and languages led him to Tokyo, Japan for 10 years, where he became fascinated by the Asian aesthetic and inspired to learn more about costuming and makeup. He returned to Seattle, WA to study special effects makeup in Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. Since 2010, Shawn's special effects makeup has appeared in the full-feature film "Holiday Hell" starring Jeffrey Combs and Joel Murray, as well as several horror and fantasy films, the world's first theatrical production of "Klingon M'aQ'betH (Macbeth)", and several publications. Shawn specializes in costuming, prop fabrication, and special effects makeup including molding, airbrushing, and prosthetics.
