Maaike Abram

Maaike Abram was born and raised in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. From an early age on she loved the spotlight and was involved in performing, singing and dancing. After finishing High school and several Audio visual courses she attended TV/Film/Photo make-up at Studio Bessels in Hilversum. Here she was taught all the beauty tricks about a perfect beauty make-up from Karin Melissant. Maaike then became an apprentice of Attie Tabak and learned all different types of materials and techniques for 2D & 3D make-up, character design, airbrush, body paint and Special effects. In the meantime she gave several make-up demos for Atelier maquillage for Lancome, Tommy 'Hilfiger' Colors and worked for the TV company EndeMol in Aalsmeer. Maaike has been working professionally in the entertainment industry since 2001. Her work is been published in newspapers, magazines, on posters, billboards and flyer's. Her work was shown on stage, in video clips, TVshows, internetshows and movies. Maaike is also known as an actress, stunt woman, entertainer and TV presenter. She has worked with numerous of talented people and loves to work in front and behind the camera.
