Born March 15, 1981, in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Ryan Brant is the only son of Marvina (Clark), a graphic artist, and Robert (Brant), an Officer for the Defense Information Systems Agency. At 17 years of age, Ryan began work abroad, supporting humanitarian efforts throughout various orphanages in Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia until his return to the United States in 2003. He was first introduced to the world of Film and Television after attending an open audition for the Feature, "Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides". Saturday, May 15, 2010, Ryan was selected against 7,000 other aspiring actors for a spot in the film and booked as Johnny Depp's Photo Double. While filming, he was also added to the cast of Featured Pirates and Stunt Performers. Following this role, Ryan took on a brief acting career, appearing on the TV series Hawaii 5-0, and subsequently began to produce, write, direct, and manage the production of television commercials, brand campaigns, transmedia strategies, as well as supervise, and contribute as a visual effects artist for several Feature Films. In March of 2011, Ryan co-founded an agency where he served as Creative Director. His company successfully expanded from Honolulu to Los Angeles where he extended his creative direction into network television, brand campaigns, transmedia and interactive experiences for which he won numerous awards. Following the acquisition of his company, Ryan remained in the creative field as a freelance Creative Director for brands such as HBO, FX, FOX, Turner Sports, TBS, CW, NBC, Discovery, Apple, Four Seasons, 7-Eleven, Consumer Reports, St.Regis, Disney, Jerry Bruckheimer Productions, Amarok Entertainment, Willow Street Productions and many more. Ryan also led creative efforts at several Los Angeles-based studios such as: MAL, Activision, Open Road, Conscious Minds, Troika, Cashmere (where his work the agency to win three back-to-back Clio awards) and finally 72 and Sunny. In June of 2020 Ryan began working as the Vice President of Creative for Polymer Studios and remains Co-Founder of campfire.pictures, a website dedicated to creatives working in the entertainment industry.
