Lisa Curry

Lisa Curry is an internationally touring comedian and TV writer based between Los Angeles and New York. She began her career as part of Second City Hollywood's house improv ensemble. Between 2014 and 2015, she completed her first two national tours, which were self-produced and shot as a docu-series. In 2016, Lisa was profiled by PBS for an episode of their docu-series, 'Angeleno'. The episode is an in-depth look at what life is like as a comedian in Los Angeles. In the fall of 2017, Lisa appeared on the four time Emmy Award-winning show, 'The Mystery Hour' on FOX. In New York, she is a correspondent for 'State of Mind Media' which specializes in 360 and VR videos. Lisa has worked as a creative on ad campaigns for both Amazon and Comedy Central. As a writer, she has helped to develop three original series. She was a staff writer on 'Trivial Takedown' on Fuse and 'Comedy Knockout' on TruTV. Her comedy is best described as dark, smart and deeply personal.
