Gregor Kresal

Award winning writer, director and producer, Gregor Kresal is a founder of Sfinga Pro production company. In 2016 he completed the David Lynch MA in Film at the Maharishi University of Management. He is also an architect who spent 25 years climbing highest mountains around the world. In 2000 he bought his first video camera and six years later he decided that filmmaking is The Job. Three Grand Prix awards, award for the best screenplay, six other awards and competition program for total of 17 International film festivals, all for his feature-documentary film Sfinga (2011, The Sphinx), is the highlight of his filmmaking career. At the 25th Annual IMPA Awards ceremony (2016) he was also awarded as best cinematographer - for the horror feature film Lilith's Awakening.
