Katelyn Logan Wells is a Canadian-born actress and award-winning screenwriter. At just 14 years old she signed with her first agent and began her on-screen career while attending Ottawa's prestigious Canterbury Arts High School. Katelyn is best known for playing new LGBTQ fan-favourite Silver in the highly anticipated second season of Netflix's Ginny & Georgia (2021). She first made her mark on-screen portraying Mary Joe in all three seasons of the Netflix/CBC original Anne with an E (2017) and furthered her connection with audiences as Daphne in Freeform's #1 rated show The Bold Type (2017). Katelyn has had the pleasure of collaborating with some of the most respected actors and filmmakers in the industry. A few memorable experiences include working alongside Brie Larson on the academy award-winning film Room (2015), and Oscar-nominated directors Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala on their horror film The Lodge (2019). A alumnus of Ryerson University's Radio and Television Arts Program (2017), Katelyn is enjoying success in her post-graduate career both in front of and behind the camera- where she is dominating the festival circuit with her award-winning original feature screenplay One Foot Over the Edge. She is proudly searching for the opportunity to green light production on her debut feature within the coming year. When she's not busy on set you can find her writing in coffee shops, enjoying the cottage with friends, and working on her zen at the yoga studio.
