Marisa Prince

Marisa L.R. Prince is a Writer/Producer and the Founder of Standing In the Gap. She's produced over twenty projects (global livestream events & concert specials, podcast/livestream, docuseries sizzle reel, short films, music & corporate videos and a web series), and also co-produced a feature-length documentary submitted to the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. One of her latest short films, "Awakenings", was submitted for consideration for the 2014 Academy Award for Best Short Film. Prince has written ten original projects for Film & TV, several of which are in development. In addition to earning a B.A. in Sociology from Spelman College and a JD from Boston College Law School, Prince is also a proud graduate of the Los Angeles Film School's Immersion Producing Program.
