Karen Labbe

Karen Labbé is a French Canadian actress, producer and director. She started working in the United States after Majoring in Films Studies from University of Montréal and winning awards for her short films. Some of her producer credits include the documentary "It's A Strange World - The Filming of Blue Velvet" which can be found as a Special Feature on The Criterion Collection's release of David Lynch's Blue Velvet. Her television producer credits include Story Producer/Director on "Chicken Soup for the Soul's Hidden Heroes" hosted by Brooke Burke on the CBS Network and a Field Producer Credit on the Hip Hop Competition Show, "One Shot" hosted by Sway Calloway on the BET Network. Some of her acting credits include Nicholas Sparks' "The Longest Ride" , "The Resident" on FOX, several commercials (such as NASCAR) and other independent films.
