Nathalie Baroud studied Theatre and Communications at the Ottawa of University. Established in Montreal, she continues to study her craft, exploring the different approaches and techniques related to her multiple fields of work. She is active in various projects related to performing arts and media in both French and English. Her versatility defines her as a performer but also as a creator who loves sharing her time between acting, writing, directing, coaching and artistic direction. Her fascination for psychology and her attraction for mixing genres and disciplines are the essence of Voltage Theatrical Creations a company she has founded in 2009. Apnee, Pour le meilleur du pire et le pire du meilleur and Image Super Posee were presented at various venues and festivals: Le Fait, Castelier, Edgy Woman, Vue sur la Releve, Le festival des arts de la rue de Shawinigan, Le Fringe de Montreal et au Studio 303, les Maisons de la culture of Montreal and le Laboratoire d'art de Toronto. She has developed an adaptation for object theatre of Orwell's Animal Farm scheduled for 2013.
