Abraham Sánchez

Born and raised in Tijuana, México, started in the late 90's making movies in VHS, Film and digital media, working as an editor, writer, director and art department; his experimental horror short "Antropofagus" was shown at the 2010 Mad Mex Selection in Mexico city's National Cinematheque and winning Jury prize at the Freak Film Festival jointly held in Valencia, Spain and Tijuana México in 2009 and has finished working in 2012 on "Sanguijuelas" or "the leeches" an ambitious short film about a vampire hunter in Tijuana which was released in official selections at the Morbido Horror Film Festival Tijuana 2011, as well as the San Diego Comic Con IFF 2012, Horrible Imaginings Film Fest 2012 San Diego California and Tlalpujahua México's Feratum Film Fest 2012 and zompire film festival and winner of best mexican shortfilm at the Macabro Film Festival 2013, and now releasing a post apocalyptic horror tale shot in Tijuana called "Devastation" to the festival circuit and a segment for the horror anthology series "Mexico Barbaro" to be released in 2017 based on local legends and folklore.
