Nakia Jewel Williams was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Maryland. Upon completion of high school she relocated to Los Angeles to attend college and pursue her dreams of being in the television & film business. She attended California State University at Northridge and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cinema Television Arts. Soon after graduating she began working behind the scenes of various reality television shows. It was then that Nakia realized she had not yet found her place in the world of television & film. Having dabbled in acting throughout her childhood, starring in numerous personal projects, Nakia began to feel called to the craft once again as an adult. So, she decided to enroll in an acting class at her local community college and that is when she realized that acting was her true passion. Soon after, Nakia Jewel Williams booked numerous roles on stage and on camera, most notably, a recurring role in the web series Black Man Depressed (2014) and a guest star role in the Crypt TV web series Stoneheart (2017). She currently resides in Los Angeles, California and continues to pursue her craft.
