Caitlin Borek began pursuing her theatrical education at NYU's Steinhardt Music Theatre Workshop. From there she received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University. Her favorite regional credits include Christine in Phantom, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, and Fantine in Les Mis. Caitlin was awarded Best Actress in a Musical by BroadwayWorld Madison for her portrayal of Cosette in Les Mis at Fireside Theatre. Just before the outbreak of the CoronaVirus, Caitlin booked her first national tours with New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players in their productions of Pirates of Penzance and The Mikado. She starred as Karen in the film Fjaka directed by Mike Meyer which won the Crowd Pleaser award in the Chicago 48 Hour Film Festival. She recently played Baby Girl in Scrambled directed by Bret Lada which won Best Comedic Short Film in The Quarantini Film Festival. She was one of the producers on The Andy Baker Tape which will be premiered at The Garden State Film Festival and won Best Home Grown Feature. Though she originally hails from Chicago, she calls New York City home.
