Ehsan Rastaghi born in Plymouth, England on the 25th of April 1986 is and award winning actor and has been active in theatre and film since 1998 when he was given a small role in a stage production of the William Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet. He was cast in other unaccredited unpaid roles working along side established actors, learning his craft. This changed soon after he was cast as revolutionary Jean Paul Marat in the 2008 stage production of Marat/Sade he prepared for the role by visiting mental health patience many were present at the opening performance of the play. Ehsan received critical acclaim for his portrayal of the character within a character. He was quickly noticed to be talented character actor and able to transform his voice and physicality exceptionally well by casting directors in the world of theatre. Ehsan's next production was the 2009 theatre production of One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest in which he was cast as R.P Mc Murphy a character famously portrayed in the movie by Jack Nicholson, Ehsan decided to move away from the character created by Jack Nicholson stating that "I can't really compete with Jack I mean he's Jack Nicholson!" he instead stripped the character back giving him a South American accent and a physicality described as a fascinating mixture of a comic book villain and a working class Nascar loving American. After this production Ehsan performed in and was auditioned for many movie and television roles. He however decided to step away from theatre and film to concentrate on his career outside of acting, a decision criticized heavily by the theatre and film community. Ehsan moved to Lincolnshire in 2010, a return to acting is said to be a certainty if the right role knocks on his door.
