Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, Josh B was raised in Orange County singing in his church choir and his school's vocal ensemble before performing with Broadway on Tour in "Guys and Dolls" and "Oklahoma." As a young man, Josh also took part in national commercials for Addidas, Nokia, Sony and American Eagle, to name a few. These commercials eventually led to Josh's first breakout role on ABC Network's television show, "Emily's Reasons Why Not". In addition, Josh landed roles in a number of productions including the motion pictures "Sinful", "Dockweiler", "Privileged", "The Number 23", "The Good German" and "Bobby". Josh's television credits also include roles in "The OC" and "Jake in Progress". Currently, Josh is in pre-production for the remake of the motion picture "Childs Play", set to release internationally in 2012. Josh is also an active member of both SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists). Josh began writing music at the age of 16 releasing his first single, "Pocketchange" in September of 2007, featured on iTunes and Rhapsody Wordwide. Josh has a unique sound that can best be described as electro, "hip-pop"; dance music that translates from a club, to a car, to a playlist at the gym. Josh has recently released his newest single, "Get Down", which is sure to propel his music career to new heights. In addition, Josh is recording for his debut album entitled "Truth", set to release in the 2nd Quarter of 2012. In addition, to Josh's current music endeavors, he is currently filming for his new reality show titled, "Hollywood and Vine". "Hollywood and Vine" shows Hollywood through the eyes of Josh B and six of his closest friends as they go on auditions, callbacks, modeling sessions, film shoots and experience the constant rigors of working and trying to succeed in Hollywood. They will witness rejections, triumphs, love and loyalty, as well as the infamous night-life of Hollywood. Josh is the Creator and has assumed the role of Executive Producer for his reality show, which is set to air on a Major Network in the Summer of 2012. In his spare time, Josh enjoys giving back to his favorite charity, The Entertainment Industry Foundation, which focuses its effort on supporting underprivileged children. Josh also focuses his efforts on his own charity foundation named "Kids in Need of an Education". His foundation focuses on providing supplies to under-funded public school systems, with the premise that education provides a platform for all children to pursue any dream or goal that they with to pursue. Josh expresses his life goal both through his music and new reality show, which is to inspire people to pursue their dreams no matter what they are, just as he did, and to never give up. Whether seen on the screen, heard through his music or viewed on his reality show "Josh B" is a name that you will not soon forget.
